crash through the surface, where they can’t hurt us

Fall’s IT colour this year has got to be brown, and I decided to try it out this week. Truth be told, I was never a huge fan of this poop reminiscent colour, but it is EVERYWHERE this season and my mind has totally changed. I love how it’s not as dark as black or even navy blue, and it totally goes with all the fall-hues like the beautiful colours of the leaves this time of year. I’m still not a huge fan of brown paired with black or other dark colours, but when paired with whites and creams, I’m in love. The light colours bring an air of freshness into the whole look and it looks clean and crisp. So of course that’s how I wore this cute brown crop top from Reformation – with my fave pair of white vintage Levi’s jeans. I think even with a cream coloured coat thrown over top for more warmth, or even a cream scarf, the look would still be so clean and fresh. Are you guys into brown this season, and if so, how would you style it? Let me know!

So last week I finally had a chance to see A Star is Born and I’m in love! Not only did this movie have it’s funny parts, but it also made me tear up and was truly heartwarming. I was so impressed by all the performances from Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper both (who knew that he was such a good singer?!), and you can’t deny how incredible their chemistry was! Apart from a beautifully cinematic movie and classic but well-told story line, the music was of course fantastic as well! The soundtrack had such a good mix of country-rock as well as upbeat pop hits and slower ballads.  As soon as I got home from the theater after seeing the movie, I immediately went on Spotify and listened to the entire soundtrack. And I’ve been listening to it ever since. Take a listen to one of the songs off the official soundtrack below if you haven’t already yet, and if the music video doesn’t touch your heart and make you wanna go out and see this movie ASAP, then I don’t know what will. I already want to go back and see it for the second time, and possibly even a third time.

Let me know if you guys have seen A Star is Born yet and what you thought of it!!
