Hi guys! It’s officially been fall for a few weeks now, but here in Toronto, the weather has been so indecisive. What else is new? Some days it’s cold and gloomy and others it’s sunny and feeling like the end of summer. Here are a few outfits that I think are perfect for this transitional time of the year. This time of year is especially interesting to dress for because it’s always cold in the morning, hot in the afternoon, and then cold again in the evening. My favourite thing to do for transitional outfits is take some of my favourite summer pieces and then layer to make them fall appropriate. You can always take off layers in the middle of the day if it’s hot and throw them back on when it gets cold again.
I’m sure you all know by now that I LOVE sets. This one from Free People is so perfect for transitional dressing because it’s a thicker knit fabric. Nothing cuter than matching shorts and a sweater. Of course, you can pair each piece separately or wear it together for a one and done look. Continue reading “Transitional Outfits: Summer to Fall”
Hi everyone! I know it’s been a long time. First of all, I just want to apologize for not being active on here and keeping up with blogging. I can’t believe my last post was 3.5 months ago. This is the longest time I’ve ever gone without blogging and I’ve missed it so so much. To be honest, there’s no reason or explanation for my absence from blogging. It just unintentionally happened. Ever since I started this blog, my goal was to be consistent and have a new blog post up every week. And I’ve done that (except for a few weeks here and there). Even when quarantine started, I told myself that this would be good because now I would have more time to focus on writing blog posts. Well clearly that didn’t happen lol. Since my last blog post, I guess you can say that I just didn’t really feel like writing blog posts when I felt like I had nothing meaningful to say and lost a bit of motivation. So many important things have happened in the world since then that deserve our attention.
Well those weeks that I was absent on here eventually turned into months and now here we are 3.5 months later. I want to slowly get back into blogging again and I can’t promise I’ll be as consistent at blogging every single week like I used to, but I definitely want to continue to share outfits and music like I used to! No more putting pressure on myself to whip up something every week, but rather blogging because I genuinely WANT TO whenever I feel like it.
Since I’ve been gone for so long, this week I’ll just be showing a recap of some of my favourite outfits that I’ve worn over the summer. I can’t believe summer is almost over now, but before we fully get into Fall fashion, these looks deserve a bit of attention 😉
Just because we’re stuck at home these days doesn’t mean we can’t be stuck at home in style. This week I’m showing you guys what I’ve been gravitating towards while working and just hanging around the house. Yes I am all for comfort when it comes to quarantine outfits, but comfort does not mean you have to sacrifice on style! There are so many stylish sweatsuits, ways to dress up sweatpants, and other comfy pieces you can rock while at home!

I just want to start off this post by saying that I hope everyone is currently at home safe and sound. And if you’re an essential worker that still needs to go out daily, THANK YOU! The uncertainty of this time has been so scary for most of us, but I know that I’m just trying to keep my head up and take each day as it comes.
With that said, I know we are all spending our days indoors so now more than ever, it’s important to make sure that you are in love with your space! Having a nice, clean and styled apartment that matches my aesthetic has honestly made me feel SO much better these days. It sounds so weird to say, but sometimes I’ll just stare at little corners of my apartment and feel so happy and giddy inside. For example, the other day, I’m pretty sure I just stood there and stared at my couch and the basket wall piece I created above it for a solid 5 minutes and the entire time I was just thinking how much I love my space and how happy I am with it. Those little joys right now matter more than ever. So if you are looking for ways to kill time during this pandemic, I highly recommend sprucing up your space! Whether it be rearranging or reorganizing your furniture to change things up, or doing some at home DIY home decor, I promise you it will put you in such a good mood.
I’ve posted here and there on my Instagram stories some sneak peeks of my place, and promised you guys a more in-depth apartment tour. Well alas, a lot of people have been asking so here it finally is! I’m going to share with you all the details of everything in my place and leave links to all the products so if you like something, you can get it too!
