Plaid Jumpsuit: Reformation Pompano Jumpsuit (similar) | Jacket: American Apparel (old)
Another Fall themed post, another plaid outfit! Can you tell that I absolutely cannot get enough of anything plaid this time of year? Haha. I’m in love with this plaid jumpsuit that I got from Reformation during their annual end of summer sale. I actually had my eye on this jumpsuit earlier this year, but I couldn’t justify shelling out the money for it at full price, but when it went on sale, I picked it up immediately. This piece is absolutely stunning, just like every other piece that Reformation makes. You can even wear this in the Spring since it’s a lightweight chiffon material, but is fully lined inside so it’s not sheer at all.
For this crisp fall day, I paired it with this cream American Apparel jacket I’ve had for years in my closet. The slightly cropped length of the jacket balances out the long, full pants of the jumpsuit. And although I’m not all that short, I had to wear a pair of 7 inch platform clogs (that you can’t see) so that the pants wouldn’t drag on the floor. I’m not super short either (I’m 5’4) but I always find that jumpsuits are way too long on me. Who else has this problem? At least the long pants cover the shoes and help to elongate the legs, so I can’t complain too much.
So because we’re still in the middle of Fall, I’ve been listening to so much Fall music! My new favourite playlist on Spotify right now is their Chill Hits playlist. It’s perfect for this time of year. Super low-key and buttery smooth music, but still catchy enough to keep you listening to it over and over. And it also helps that it features so many of my favourite artists including The 1975 and LANY. Seriously, this playlist is my jam right now!
One artist in particular that I’ve really been into thanks to this playlist is King Princess. If you haven’t heard of her yet, get on it. At 19 years old, she is wise beyond her ears, and not afraid to be open about her sexuality. Her debut single 1950 is about queer love – something that so many could not be open about for the longest time in history. Her perspective on this topic is raw, emotional, and pure. Give 1950 a listen below and let me know what you think! I have a feeling that big things are coming for King Princess. Watch out.
Love this !!!
