It’s funny how much the weather and the seasons can influence our style and the way we dress, isn’t it? In the Spring/Summer, I’m all about pastel colours and as soon as Fall hits, I’m all about neutrals. This week’s outfit is my perfect Fall look for this year. It incorporates neutrals (duh), a classic pair of mom jeans, and those trendy shrug type sweaters that we’re seeing everywhere right now.

I recently picked up this tank top and crop sweater/shrug combination from Zara. It looks like two separate pieces but it’s actually just one piece that’s attached! I love this item – so trendy right now but it’s so unique at the same time. The fact that it’s neutral also makes it much more wearable. You can also achieve the same look with a white ribbed tank top and a shrug/arm warmer sweater on top. I’ve seen loads of them at Zara and also love this one from Simonett for a similar vibe. I decided to keep the whole outfit neutral so I opted for my beige high waisted mom jeans that I thrifted last year, a neutral mini bag that I also thrifted, and beige booties that I’ve had for several years. I wore this outfit to go apple picking with a few friends and it was perfect!

My favourite thing about fall besides fall fashion and fun fall activities is the music! Around this time of year, there are always so many good new releases and bands touring (RIP to concerts this year though). Although I’m extremely sad there are no concerts right now, I have to admit that the amount of new music I’ve been listening to lately (almost) makes up for it. The new song release I’m sharing with you all this week is Beyond the Pine by Tash Sultana. I’ve been a huge fan of Tash for the longest time. She is the epitome of not only talent, but hard work paying off. If you don’t know, she actually started by busking on the streets in Australia. Fast forward to today and she’s toured worldwide, played some of the biggest festivals in the world, and released her own debut album. A few weeks ago she released her new single Beyond the Pine and I’m obsessed. If you don’t know, Tash Sultana’s sound is pretty versatile and I think this song shows off her range and her talent even more. This is the sweetest love song. Something that all of us could use a little more of right now. It’s a love song for all ages, races, genders and sexualities.

Please give it a listen, you won’t regret it I promise. Let me know down below some of your favourite tunes at the moment and if there are any new releases that you’re excited for! Always looking for music recommendations 🙂
