Well, I think we can all agree that this week has been rough. In the last few days, everything has escalated so quickly and uncertainty is at an all-time high, causing panic and anxiety among everyone. Although I’m not sure what will happen next, all I know is that it’s super important to take care of yourself during this time. This means practicing proper personal hygiene and always washing your hands for at least 30 seconds. This also means staying indoors if you can. The elderly are the most vulnerable right now so it’s important to be aware of how you’re feeling not just for yourself, but for those around you too. If you’re feeling sick in any way, self quarantine! Although you may think you’ll get through this virus, you never know who out there may not. We need to protect and love each other (from a distance) as much as we can right now.

My personal situation has constantly been changing. Thankfully my full-time job has allowed us to work from home if we can so I’ll be taking advantage of that for a few days next week. On the other hand, I was also supposed to work at my part-time job at Free People on Sunday morning, but found out the night before that all Free People stores will now be closed for at least the next two weeks. This has made me realize how serious this pandemic is and I vow to do my best to maintain my health and safety, and of course the health and safety of those around me as well.

I know it’s hard not to feel anxious during this time, but I have always believed that the best thing you can do for yourself is to just focus on the present moment. We don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow, and quite frankly, a lot of it is also out of our control. As long as you’re practicing good hygiene and staying home if you feel the need to, there’s not much else we can do to change the situation. So why not just use this extra time that we now have to be present and focus on ourselves? Whatever that may be for you. It could be catching up on that new Netflix show, reading a good book, practicing yoga more, taking up a new hobby that you’ve always wanted to, or just utilizing the time to do more of what you love! For me, it’s obviously blogging more! In my last post I mentioned how the last few months have been crazy busy for me and my blog posts were slowing down because of it, but the silver lining I see in all this current craziness is that I now have more time to do the things that make me happy. On top of blogging more, I’ll also be catching up on Riverdale, discovering new music, getting more yoga sessions in, and listing some amazing new vintage pieces over on my Etsy shop that I hadn’t found the time to do before.

Since I know the majority of you will now have extra time on your hands, I thought that this week instead of just sharing one song, I would share my entire playlist from the last few months. You may recognize some of the songs on it since I’ve shared a few of them in some of my previous blog posts, but there is still so much good music on the playlist! My Fall/Winter 2020 Playlist is one that I’m constantly updating with more songs, and it has been my go-to for whatever mood I’m in. Whether I’m driving or just chilling at home, this playlist has been on heavy rotation for a while. Have a listen through and I’m sure you will discover some awesome new music as well!

And to go along with that, I’m sure we all still want to look and feel our best even when we’re indoors. My outfit this week has been my favourite throw on and go outfit that looks stylish but is SO comfy at the same time. My midi sweater dress fits loose and is the perfect canvas to spice up the outfit with accessories or a jacket on top. I decided to throw on this fun pink tie-dye fleece jacket. First of all, you know I’m loving the tie-dye trend right now, and secondly, fleece is also super cozy and warm, perfect if you’re just lounging at home or want to stay warm when you’re out. I actually wore this exact outfit to work in the morning, to out shopping with a friend after, to eating and just chilling at home at the end of the day. So it’s safe to say that this outfit has been through it all and I felt so good in it the whole time!

That’s it for this week guys. Share with me down below what you guys are doing to keep busy right now and any new music or TV shows I should check out. Remember to take care of yourselves and those around you. Sending you all my love!
