Blouse: Spell Gypsy x Lisa Danielle | Pants: Rolla’s East Coast Cord Flares| Jacket: old (similar)
One of my favourite Australian brands, Spell Gypsy, does it again! I’ve worn their pieces numerous times on my blog and always rave about their beautiful one-of-a-kind prints. Well now they’ve just created the blouse of my dreams!! This top is in collaboration with Lisa Danielle, an Aussie-based travel/fashion blogger that I’ve been following for a while now. A while back, she posted a sneak peek of her collaboration with Spell and revealed the gorgeous print of this top in one of her Instagram posts. Of course, as soon as the collaboration was announced, I knew that I HAD to get my hands on this top! If I could only wear one top everyday for the rest of my life, this would have to be it. I am so in love! Everything from the print to the colours to the cutout at the neck to the lace details is just magical. This special top definitely deserved to be worn for the first time on a special night out, so I wore it out for my birthday dinner with high rise light wash flare jeans and I never felt more beautiful.
This time around, I decided to style the blouse more appropriately for this time of year. Picking up on the mustard throughout the blouse, I thought these tan corduroy pants went really well since they’re similar tones. Cords are also really in right now, and I feel like the flare style on these really play up the bohemian vibes of the top. To take it to the next level (and also because Toronto is VERY cold), I topped it off with my white fluffy coat. Mine is a few years old, but there are so many “teddy” coats available everywhere right now. I like that this one is longer in length and is not cinched at the bottom because it just flows over your outfits so effortlessly. All in all, I’m in love with how this outfit turned out and I can’t wait to style my Spell x Lisa Danielle blouse for the rest of the season and into the Spring and Summer!
Since we’re clearly on an “Australian” theme this week, I thought it would be perfect to feature an Australian band who’s music is perfect for this time of year: The Paper Kites. Literally any song by them is great music to hang out to during the colder months while you cozy up at home. But one of my all-time favourite songs by them is Revelator Eyes. I’m pretty sure I put this song on my Fall/Winter playlist every year because it’s one that I always go back to. It just never gets old. It’s sweet, but also sad and gives you all the feels at the same time.Β Give it a listen below and also share with me your current favourite tunes!
