White Crop Tank: Brandy Melville | Pink Pants: Zara | Black Mini Purse: Vintage | Sneakers: Vans | Sunnies: Rayban
Can we please take a moment to just appreciate how AMAAAZING these pink pants are?! So amazing that this week’s entire outfit revolves around these beauties. I picked these up from Zara a while back during their Summer sale for less than $30! Who would’ve thought. The colour is so bright and fun for summer, but honestly I can’t wait to style them into the Fall with a chunky cream sweater and booties instead. They were extra long when I purchased them, but my tailor shortened the hem and now they fit perfect with a small heel.
For this outfit, I really wanted the bold pink colour of these pants to stand out on their own so I paired it with all black and white. First off, the white ribbed tank top I’m wearing is so tomboy-ish that it contrasts the dressier nature of these pants and that’s why it works. I love mixing different styles, never going too much with a particular one because hey, fashion is all about experimentation and having fun! Secondly, the black and white checkered Vans! I wasn’t sure which shoes to wear with this outfit, but going with the more sporty vibe of the tank top, I thought these sneakers were perfect. And the checkered pattern and slight platform totally add some interest back into the outfit without clashing. And to finish it all off, I decided to pair my round Raybans and DIY choker to go along with the whole 90s vibe of the top. I had so much fun styling this outfit and I literally felt SO GOOD in this look. It made me feel powerful yet stylish. Tell me how you would style these pink pants in the comments below!
Going along with how powerful this outfit and these fabulous pants made me feel, it’s time to share with you guys a song that also makes me feel the same way. By now I’m sure most of you have heard of Lizzo, and man is she a power house!! All of her music just puts you in the best mood, reminds you that you are the amazing woman that you are and you don’t need anybody else to validate that. She is the queen of powerful, feel-good music and has united women everywhere! I love her and her music for that. If you haven’t checked her out yet, make sure to give her hit song Good As Hell a listen. Whether you just got out of a relationship, need a catchy song to rock it at your next photoshoot, or just a fun song to dance with your girlfriends to, this song is it. This song is such a feel-good song that will unite ladies everywhere. If you guys have any song suggestions that always help you feel your best, feel free to share them down below!
