miles from the shore, doing my best not to be found out

How gorgeous are these pearl jewelry pieces?! I had actually been wanting some pearl jewelry for the summer when a new California based brand called Sunstruck reached out to me and offered to send me some. I picked out this freshwater pearl necklace along with these matching earrings and I absolutely adore them! These pieces are gold plated and feature natural freshwater pearls, so each pearl is unique and different. They’re not perfectly polished, but that’s what I love about them – they’re natural and beautiful! The pieces are quite substantial even though they’re dainty, so the quality is definitely there for a fraction of the price. They’re all hand picked and hand made which adds that little personal touch. I can’ wait to rock these pieces for the rest of summer! If you want to get your hands on your own pearl pieces (their site also has tons more gorgeous jewelry) you can use my code VICTORIA10 for a bit of money off your order.

To style my outfit around the jewelry, I thought I would go for an all white look to keep it clean and crisp. I absolutely love wearing all white in the summer because of how easy it is, plus it looks amazing against a tan! The floral details in my silk blouse add some dimension to the whole look but still keeps it streamlined. These high waisted white trousers literally go with everything and are so comfortable so of course I paired them with this look. Gold, silk, pearls, and whites, I can’t think of a better combination for a perfect summer outfit.

Naturally when I thought of styling this outfit with the pearl jewelry, my first instinct was to shoot these pictures at the beach, against the water. So this week’s song is one that I think is perfect to listen to on a relaxing summer night when you’re sitting out on your deck overlooking the water. The song is called “Man Overboard” by Ed Patrick. It’s definitely one of those songs that you listen to on a low-key summer night while enjoying the view of the water and good chats with your loved ones. Soothing, calming, and just beautiful. Take a listen below and let me know what your perfect summer night consists of.
