Last week I mentioned how I’m obsessed with pastel colours lately. Well case in point, instead of lavender this week, I’m rocking the most gorgeous pale green! I saw this top on the Free People Instagram page a while back, and I knew I needed it as soon as I saw it. The ruched details in the front, smocked back, and large balloon sleeves are just so dreamy. If you’re obsessed with this top just as much as I am, make sure to get it now because it’s on sale!!
To keep the rest of this outfit simple, I paired it with a pair of white high-waisted wide leg trousers. Trousers like this are a staple in my wardrobe for the summer. They are so breezy and easy to throw on with just about any kind of blouse. Any pair of high waisted white trousers will do, or even white high waisted jeans would be so cute. This whole look is so crisp, fresh, and airy!
When I first put on this outfit, the first thing my boyfriend said to me was “You look like Maggie Rogers!” and I totally see it. When we saw her in concert this past Spring, she was rocking a very similar pair of high waisted white wide leg trousers with the coolest sequin blouse. If you saw her Coachella performance though, you’ll notice that she was dancing around the stage the whole time with this awesome sheer red long kimono, something that the sleeves on my blouse totally remind me of. With that said, of course I have to feature another Maggie Rogers song this week. You guys know I love her music and have mentioned her a few times on here already so maybe this is old news to you. You may also have heard of her already since she has blown up significantly within the last few months, with all of her recent concerts being sold out or moved to bigger venues to accommodate for the overwhelming demand. But if not, give her song “Burning” a listen below. It’s so hard for me to pick just one song of hers because they are all amazing, but this live performance of her performing “Burning” is so powerful. You can literally feel her emotion through this performance, and her energy as her entire body moves and dances across the stage. It’s so rare to see someone as passionate about doing what they love as she does, and it shows through her stage presence. Maggie is also on tour currently so please so check her out if she’s in your city! I promise you it will be a concert you won’t soon forget.
Before I leave you guys this week, I also wanted to take a moment to talk about all of the beautiful jewelry that I’m wearing. Everything from the necklaces to the rings to the bracelets are all from Sole du Soleil. Their website has a wide variety of different jewelry including minimal and dainty pieces to more substantial pieces. Most of their pieces also come in gold, silver or rose gold so there’s something for everyone! Their pieces are also all gold plated, so it’s not going to rust or tarnish after a few wears. I can tell that these pieces are super high quality, well-made, and will last a long time! I am obsessed with all of the pieces that I picked out from them and have actually been wearing them non-stop. If you look at my last few blog posts, you’ll notice that I’ve been rocking all of their jewelry. Feel free to browse and shop the site HERE!
Omg I can’t believe I’ve only just discovered your blog! Your style and photos are evvverything I love it! Also love this top too, I’m really getting into green lately, might have to find myself something similar…
