Two Piece Set: Urban Outfitters | Sneakers: FILA Disruptor 2
Happy long weekend to all my North American friends! I am spending the Canada Day long weekend camping with some friends. I love the long summer days: laying out, going for a dip to cool off, late night bonfire talks, and just fun with loved ones! What did you guys get up to this long weekend? I would love to know!

This week I decided to just put together a quick and easy outfit, and what’s easier than a two-piece set? If dresses and rompers aren’t your thing, perhaps a cute two-piece set is. I love a good set because it’s so easy to throw on and you instantly look put together. Plus you can always mix and match the pieces with other items in your wardrobe. So versatile! This summer I am LOVING pastel colours such as lavender/lilac, pale yellow and pale green. When I saw this lilac and white gingham set on Urban Outfitters, I fell in love right away. It’s seriously the cutest little set ever. I’ve definitely been seeing pastel colours like this everywhere this season and it’s so fun to wear some colour during this time of year. Do you guys normally wear colour??! In the Winter, I tend to stick to black and white and more neutral shades, but I’ve been having so much fun playing around with cute colours! Now since it’s the long weekend, I thought I would share a song this week off my summer 2019 playlist in case you need new music for all your long weekend backyard/pool parties. I have been obsessed with Clairo’s newest single “Bags”. If Clairo sounds familiar, it’s probably because you’ve heard her on several collabs with other artists. I actually first discovered her through some collabs on songs she’s done with SG Lewis. She’s done collaborations with a handful of other artists including one of my current favourite bands, which perhaps I’ll save for you guys next week. But this week I wanted to share her song “Bags” because I’ve had this on repeat for several weeks now, ever since it came out! This is the first single off her debut album which will be coming out later this summer. According to Clairo herself, the song is about “being comfortable in a place of the unknown”. If you’re familiar with any of Clairo’s previous work, Bags is similar in the sense of its lo-fi and hazy vibe, but this song is a bit more upbeat and vibrant.
