If you can’t seem to escape animal print this season, it’s because it’s one of the biggest trends right now. Not only leopard print, but zebra, tiger, snakeskin print.. they’re all everywhere! I personally think a good leopard print is timeless and a staple because it looks good with almost anything and instantly elevates any outfit. Rocking a plain tee and jeans? Throw on a leopard print belt or leopard booties and you instantly look glam without even trying. I decided to be a bit more experimental this week and try out a pair of leopard pants. I’m really into patterned pants right now and have tons of plaid pairs, so I figured why not try a different pattern instead? I absolutely adore these leopard pants since they’re high-waisted and have a cropped, kick-flare fit. Super trendy right now but I can definitely see myself wearing these a few years down the line too.

Of course, I had to keep the top of my outfit more simple so as not to clash with the pants, and I opted for this classic white cable knit sweater. A staple that you can never go wrong with. To tie in the white, I paired the outfit with another super trendy item right now – western boots! These horse-riding boots first started making their rounds during the summer, and have just become more and more popular since. I love that these boots are not a full on cowboy boot, rather they’re western inspired, making them more wearable for everyday.

To finish off the look and combat the cold weather that we’ve recently been hit with in Toronto, I decided to put on this faux fur coat. Honestly, this thing makes me feel like a million bucks every time I put it on haha. I honestly wasn’t sure how I would feel with this jacket over this outfit as there is already so much going on, but I think the tan colour totally goes and it isn’t *too* obnoxious. I know, this outfit has so many different trends in one look that I felt the bougiest I’ve ever felt while rocking it. But nonetheless, I felt awesome in it!

So to go along with this week’s outfit, I decided to feature a song that makes me feel absolutely bougie too. Lykke Li’s “sex money feelings die”. This was one of my summer jams this past summer, and honestly every time I hear it, I still can’t help but bop along (no matter how depressing this song truly is). This is a super catchy, dream-pop song with hip-hop production from DJ Dahi. If the cold weather’s got you down, throw on your favorite faux fur coat and dance around your living room to this song. It’s guaranteed to make you feel like a million bucks.
