Black Crop Top: Forever 21 | Plaid Kick Flare Pants: Urban Outfitters (similar) | Mules: Shellys London (similar) | Sunnies: Ray Ban
You know it’s fall when you find yourself wearing plaid all the time. This week’s outfit is inspired by my girl crush, boss babe, and total style icon – Danielle Bernstein of WeWoreWhat! I’m pretty sure she wore these exact same pants from Urban Outfitters, and when I saw them on sale at my local Urban store near the end of summer, I had to pick them up. I’m obsessed with the whole kick flare, cropped hem on pants right now, and of course plaid is always a go-to for the fall. Danielle is also known for wearing the most gorgeous puff sleeve blouses! Seriously, she’s the one that got me into them, and what can I say, now I’m obsessed. These pants are super high waisted, going way past your belly button, so they work so well with a super crop top like the one I’m wearing. It shows some skin without looking too revealing. Finished off with some black leather mules to tie it in with the black top, this outfit is so cute and perfect for a warmer fall day. But don’t be afraid to wear a crop top when the temperature drops either, because you can always throw on a leather jacket on top, which is how I’d wear this outfit.
Aside from blogging, attending designer fashion shows, designing her own swimwear, jewelry and overalls line, Danielle is also an amazing dancer! She showcases this weekly on her Instagram in her WeDancedWhat series and I’m obsessed. Who knew that aside from all the fashion related stuff that she does, that she’s also an amazing and talented dancer?! I mentioned before that she is a boss babe and that’s so true, Danielle really does it all. So of course this week, I had to feature a song that she danced to in her most recent dance video – Samsara by Tungevaag & Raaban. This one is more of a techno/house/EDM track, a genre that I don’t normally listen to, but I actually really like this song! If you guys are familiar with this genre, you might know this song since it’s been out for a few years now and is quite popular (judging by the number of views it has on Youtube). But if not, give it a listen below. It’s a fun one!
