Can you believe this is the unofficial last weekend of the summer?! This summer was definitely one for the books. From watching amazing bands, singing at the top of our lungs, and dancing all day in the rain (thankfully there was sun the last day!) with friends at Osheaga, to biking around the city to discover new hidden gems, to roller coasters and water slides, to the several road trips, hiking trails, sunsets, beaches and campfires, I’m going to miss summer 2017 terribly. These pictures were taken on our last camping trip of the summer at Algonquin Park. I decided to keep the outfits all neutral and let the blues and purples of the tapestry stand out among the backdrop of the lake. Plus, there’s something so refreshing yet easy about an all-white ensemble, that’s perfect for an end of summer weekend getaway while showing off what’s left of your summer tan before it’s too late.

The song today is my favorite song by my all-time favorite band – Third Eye Blind. “Motorcycle Drive By” is an end of summer classic for me. Although about a relationship that tries and fails, this song gives me a feeling of  nostalgia at the end of the summer, when it’s time to go home and back to reality, as if the entire summer was all just a dream. Until next summer…
